1.-Please introduce yourself<PV>My name is Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa (PV), I'm a 18 years old Physics student from Porto Alegre, Brazil
2.-When did you start playing magic? On the league?
<PV> I started playing magic in like 1995-1996. I don't know so much about the league... the system says almost two years, but I'm positive it's more than that.
3. What is your favorite format?
<PV> It used to be Limited, hands down. Now I'm changing it to draft only, because I seem to never be able to win in Ravnica sealed. But, basically, anything that exists (aka not t1, t1.5 or chaos/Byob)
4.- What do you like about magic?
<PV> I like the fact that I can travel all around the world, get money, know people while doing something I like and I'm good at... and I've always liked the competitive aspect of things, especially when I win.
5.- What is your overall goal in magic?
<PV> To travel a lot, meet a lot of people, get a bit of money and, perhaps, become famous ;)
6.- Which players do you consider to be tough opponents and why?
<PV> Well, I suppose core and thalai. Core (MW|Core)because he plays too much and thinks of everything and thalai because... well, because he's thalai.
<PV> In real life the tough opponents are either the ones that don't make mistakes or those that are so bad you can't read them
7.- If you could do one thing to change the league, what would it be?
<PV> Well, if I could do ONE THING, it would be removing nico from the staff.
If i could do lots, it would be changing a lot of the judges and a lot of the staff who are true jerks, make a magic-league t-shirt, remove the "judges have to do X minis/month" rule, add myself back to judges xP.
Give myself OPs too, that would really improve the league
I'd auto-UNCHECk the "I want to be informed if someone replies on this topic", from the forums, because I always miss the fact that it's checked, and it's annoying.
8.- Which league players have you met in real life? Who would you like to meet?
<PV> I've met roelof, thalai, guli, silvos, wyern, ardani and I'm going to meet otto, koppa, shagy and some others in honolulu. I'd like to meet kalegozer, mw|core and roelof most, because I talk to them since forever, but there's really a lot of people I'd like to meet
9.- Who do you think is the best player on the league?
<PV> ARCANIS

Well, of the players I KNOW, I think thalai's the best constructed, I'm the best limited (or I was before this format x_x) and core is the best all rounded. I don't really know, though... maybe they (we) just practice a lot, and lots of people I don't know are good and don't practice.
10.- What is your limited and constructed Real life rating? How does this compare to your league ratings?
<PV> Right now, it's 1910 and 1990 ~. A month ago it was like 2050 limited, but I scrubbed out in two ptq's and lost over 100 points :(
My league ratings are 1824 and.. 1800? I don't really know
I don't compare them. Online rating is matterless :)
11.- Biggest missplay as pro-player?
<PV> Are you assuming I'm a pro player? (...)
Well, at 2003 worlds I played a raging goblin after attacking for no reason vs Darwin Kastle. And at 2004 worlds I lost my sideboard out of thin air 15 seconds before being paired and had to expend infinite buying it again in those 15 seconds, and thus I was nervous and made lots of mistakes the first round versus mori xP
12.- Your next big real tourney?
<PV> Pro Tour Honolulu. HOPEFULLY
13. -Do you have any accomplishments that you’d like to boast?
<PV> I've won some masters, made finals on some others.
14.- Anything else you want to add?
<PV> I'd like everybody to vote for me in next year's invitational and not to vote for mexicans.

Amen. I ended up playing with a judge the other day who played Annex (from hand) and immediately took my lands. When I told him "wait, I'd like to respond to Annex with Remand," he said "no. I'm the judge" then started cursing me out.
I'm pretty new here, but I was having a lot of fun at magic-league up until that point. Are there a lot of jerks like this?
