Just an idea, and the mana probably still too janky, but with the RW land coming out, it definetly helps in being able to play more solid white beats with red burn spells. Here's a quick list I put together, any ideas folks?

4 Mogg Fanatic
4 Figure of Destiny
4 Goldmeadow Stalwart
4 Knight of Meadowgrain
4 Wizened Cenn
4 Brion Stoutarm

4 Shock
4 Incinerate
4 Rift Bolt

4 Mountain
5 Plains
3 Scorched Prairie
4 Rustic Clachan
4 Battlefield Forge
4 Ancient Amphitheater

SB
2 Sunlance
3 Oblivion Ring
4 Burrenton Forge-Tender
3 Ronom Unicorn
3 Jotun Grunt

BDL.

figure of destiny is bad. it's a 2/2 for 2. better off with that Dwarf fanatic, and Cautery Sliver.

Now I could be wrong but Figure is great for aggro decks, as long as you play him right. Early on he quickly becomes 2/2 beater on turn 2 and you can drop another 1 drop, then if undealt with, which is realistic as they'll be knockin out Cenn or Meadowgrain he becomes a 4/4 and with a deck runnin 24 mana, he has the ability to become 8/8 flying first striker late game..

The problem with that thinking is that there is just way to much creture kill in this format, like so

Deathmark
Terror
Cruel Edict
Incinerate
Shock
Tarfire
Flame Javelin
Sudden Death
Sudden Shock
Profane Command
Pongify
Firespout
Damnation
Wrath of God
Shriekmaw
Nameless Inversion

I could keep gpoing, but that's pretty much the best of whats out there.

This guy might get in there for 2 every now and then, but unless this is in Block, which even then he's still not that good, he's not going to do much.

The other suggestions would be nice. I would add a couple of Lieges in here too,but don't know what to take out for them.

Figure of Destiney is good for aggro because he is not a dead draw late game.

This deck cannot be called Boros Deck Wins because it contains no members of the Boros Legion.

The only "boros" card in the Rav standard version was Helix and that isn't quite a member. The guildnames are just the best way to identify the color combos.

Dooby, if that's your point then we might as well not play any creatures at all ever. Theres a 100+ ways to kill Tarmogoyf but he stilll sees Tier 1 play in almost every format he's legal in. There is always going to be removal, and in a Aggro deck where he's usually atleast a 2/2 Bear he is fine, and become something great in the late game.

Yeah I built the same idea when I saw the Figure of Destiny, he's like a cross between Savannah Lions, Isamaru and that 2/1 for R with echo that I can't remember the name of.

When you first mention Figure to people they complain you'll never activate his 3rd ability, forget that. His relevant ability is the first one, that's all that matters. Play can go like this:

Turn 1: Figure
Turn 1 them: llanowar elf
Turn 1: Attack, if they block pump it, if they don't make more men.

One of the best creatures in BDW was Soltari Priest, if you're going to bust nuts to make WW on turn 2 then he's an in surely. Problem is the mana fixing isn't quite as good for 2 colour as it was, and unlike BDW you have a turn 1 Red man (most BDW played all White men, all their lands tapped for White with some of them tapping for Red 'late' game).

So you're trying to go from Turn 1 - R to Turn 2 - WW, it's too much to ask, and running cipt lands isn't the answer. The answer for me is to drop white. Red has a very good 2 drop in the Keldon Marauder so this gives us a great start at a curve, e.g.

4x Mogg Fanatic
4x Figure of Destiny

4x Keldon Marauder

4x Goblin Ram Gan
3x Magus of the Moon (4th in the SB)

4x Rift Bolt
4x Incinerate
4x Flame Javelin

And I think that's the 27 card 'shell' I'd start with. I'd probably experiment from there first by filling it out with:

3x Greater Gargadon
4x Mogg War Marshall
3x Unwilling Recruit
