can someone explain to me the basis of this deck.
I understand it goes off with Pyromancers swath and grapeshot with a storm but like it doesnt make sense to me that even if u get a storm of three that u still only do 9 damage. and this is after emptying most of ur hand someone please explain this.

Normally you go off once you have enough to win such as 2 grapeshots or when you have the most mana available. You don't go off when you can only do 9 damage.

claws of gix + repeal + gix = 3 storm count for 1 mana
usually you'll unsuspend lotus + 1 more count
maybe rite of flame x2 + 1
swath + 1
grapeshot + 1
usually goes like that

The real genius of this deck, is that there are many win conditions, besides the good old swath and shot. Goblin beatdown from an empty the warrens is often a good win condition, and magus of the moon often punches through enough damage for a game winning grapeshot.

The deck also recovers well, after going storm once (meaning that even after a succesful, but non-killing blow, the deck can revamp it's storm to kill another day).

I just went and tested this deck against wur blink-touch in a random mws where the guy said he was 19-1 I'm sure he was //end sarcasm. I lost game 1 because I made a math error nuff said. Game 2 goes storm up for 6 grapeshot for 21 with swath in play putting him to 3 and then setting up to do more in my next turn by using telling time into land research plans. Next turn 2 more aven riftwatchers. I drop a plans into play and pass into him casting numot and then I cast research into rite and a shot for 9 to win. Game 3 goes him turn 4 venser bloom turn 5 him numot me ignite for 7 on my following turn looking down at 3 lands and having him reveal hellkite, factory, factory, factory, fountain, venser, hellkite for all 20 that the was at on the dot. If this deck runs out of gas which it seems hard to do it loses pretty bad I'm sure but I don't see it running out of gas very easily.

Or you can go off turn 1:

land
rite of flame, rite of flame, rite of flame
pyromancers swath
grapeshot
grapeshot
= 33 damage Cool
