So I haven't really played on ML all that much because I have had alot of work this summer. However, when I did play in a trial, I lost first round and now my rating (which was previously over 1700), is now below 1600. I am not sure why this has happened, unless there was a policy change. Also, my eternal rating is no longer appearing when i log in and I am hoping the same issue will not occur. Anyone who could help me with these issues I would appreciate it greatly.
Also, I did contact the ratings@magicleague.com email address and received not reply, its been about a week now so i figured the forums were the be place to get an answer.

You can find you answer here: http://www.magic-league.com/news/221/rating_history_reset.html
Basically, inactive players have always been removed from the rating list and when they play a game again, they regained their previous rating and was added back to the list.
However, because of DB problems, we had to purge the rating history and did this by taking the rating from the rating list and sticking it into people profiles. Unfortunately, this means people that were inactive lost their rating. |
