Hey guys, some member over at MTGS posted scans of the Lorwyn basic lands that come in the Xth two-player starters. Here's the link:

I personally hate them, they're way too cheery and fairy-tale like.

Obviously lorwyn is a very nice world to live in, as someone already mentioned even the swamps are light and cheery. I think this fall's rare-to-have is going to be Big Gay Al.

I got the inside scoop:

Frodo and Samwise are in the set... and they finally get married.

Baron Sengir makes a return... As Baroness...

There will be no:
Direct damage, destroy effects, -x/-x...

And 500 card , 3 day, 4 orders of sweet and sour chicken matches are HEAVILY encouraged this set, as it is aimed at the dark side of magic; fat nerdy kids who like control decks that don't really do much but stall the game so they can feel like someone is paying attention to them.

Hm, I'm used to swamps being shown by nighttime, guess that would be a reason why it looks to friendly, they just didn't put a big bright sun in the sky yet, that would have totally made it girl friendly Wink

They should have taken the leafs of the trees though, that really looks stupid now and the water should be dark, not clear blue, it makes no sense...
