I like the white splash:
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Temple Garden
4 Stomping Ground
2 Skaarg
4 Forest
3 Mountain
1 Plains
4 BoP
4 Scab-Clan Mauler
4 Watchwolf
3 Dryad Sophisticate
4 Rumbling Slum
4 Burning-Tree Shaman
3 Gristleback (?)
4 Loxodon Hierarch
4 Lightning Helix
4 Char
SB badly needs work:
3 Glare of Subdual
4 Leave No Trace
2 Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree
3 Giant Solifuge
2 Master Warcraft
1 Ghostway
--------------------------------
Keep in mind that I live in Southern Cal, where PTQ's are notoriously chock full of aggro. Gristleback's might turn into Skyknight Legionaires or Kudzu's.
Metagaming towards aggro and BGW control. |

Yeah, thats definitly a good deck but I'd like to stay with R/G in this thread.
I can make a RGW thread however.
Sincerely,

| I don't think the Mauler is very good in a deck with no 1-drops to enable him. When bloodthirst is relevant, you'll have enough mana for better cards. Dryad Sophisticate, on the other hand, looks pretty pretty good. I'd also cut Farseek for Gristleback or another good beater. I think speed is going to be less important than quantity of threats in this block, and Farseek doesn't attack very often. |

| I see you run skarrg in the r/g list posted. I'm not sure if I'm right, but I think gruul war plow would be much better as a trample enabler as it also becomes a 4/4 trample itself that doesnt die to sorcery removal.(Like wrath if this were a t2 forum.) The rage pits could be replaced with color producing land, which is important in a deck with a lot of colored mana symbols like with mauler, slum, and burning-tree. Just a suggestion. |

| Have you thought about Savage Twister? You're playing big creatures, it'd be a decent card to wipe out the weenies with after they're out. |
