| vortex main and i personally dont like shard volley because you sac another land and makes you more vunerable to chalice which is played more now with elves being big...and dont cut spark elementals they are amazing...for more insight you can check out my deck and another burn deck in the top8 in the last master tournament |

Competitive burns at 264°C, with a orange/red flame and a lot of smoke.
Be sure to use a CO2 fire extinguisher immediatly! |

Damn, Orlandu has the point. You convinced me that Nexus is a good card in the deck.
I think I'll playtest the deck with the change of -4Jet, +4Vortex.
If it doesn't work, then I'll be back to the basics.  |

| Good move, those vortex will win you many games (unless you get really bad match-ups), but I'd still suggest -1 flames of the blood hand for +1 mountain, to make 22 land, just because you've increased the top of the curve, and RR1 for vetex means that extra land will help you a lot. Plus it makes sac.ing to shard or shrapnel much less costly. |

I used to play 4 Vortex with 18-20 lands with no troubles. Dunno if I was extremely lucky or what, but had several Nats/FNMs where I had fairly nice results. (top4-8, 3 FNM wins)
Just want to improve the deck and myself. |

I play with this list 22 lands because i play 10 3cc (sometimes rift bolt is 3 ) but the main reason that i want to use 4 nexus it is important card vs demigod stompy and some other decks |
