// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
4 [GP] Stomping Ground
3 [9E] Mountain (1)
3 [TSP] Plains (3)
3 [SHM] Forest (3)
4 [RAV] Sacred Foundry
4 [RAV] Temple Garden

// Creatures
4 [FUT] Tarmogoyf
4 [ALA] Wild Nacatl
3 [CHK] Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4 [RAV] Watchwolf
4 [9E] Kird Ape
4 [9E] Savannah Lions

// Spells
4 [RAV] Moldervine Cloak
4 [RAV] Lightning Helix
4 [RAV] Char
4 [10E] Incinerate

// Sideboard
SB: 3 [10E] Pithing Needle
SB: 4 [10E] Naturalize
SB: 4 [GP] Tin Street Hooligan
SB: 4 [9E] Blood Moon

I'm contemplating on removing the cloaks for more burn. I wish I could splash B for Dark Confidant, but that would throw off the synergy. The basic lands are there for Wild nacatl and against blood moon.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Scab-clan Mauler got replaced for Tarmogofy....why I didn't do this in the first place is beyond me....

Non-basics still power up Nacatl.

I hate to be negative here but...

How is this deck better than Zoo in any way?
Watchwolf needs to be Confidant, Savannah Lions needs to be mogg fanatic in an increasingly Elves! metagame, moldervine cloak needs to be seal of fire for the same reason, and char needs to be tribal flames.

the idea is to be quicker than zoo, thus I wouldn't waste my time removing needless creatures. And I explained splashing B.

What synergy do you mean? You can just play 10 fetchlands and Dark Confidant.

This Zoo list won't have much game vs. Elves! Play Tidehollow Sculler maindeck and Ethersworn Canonist sideboard. Or something else. Dunno.

You need 12 fetchlands and rav duals. They still pump Nacatl. If you want basics, just keep in 1 plains, 1 mountain. The plains is because you should have o. ring to help vs. Demigod Stompy. Moldervine cloak is too slow in this format. Sculler and Canonist are both good.

Moldervine Cloak is really bad. Not only does it have virtually no impact in the Elves matchup, it is a huge gamble against cards like Threads of Disloyalty or Vedalken Shackles.
There is just no way that card is ever better than Jitte.

Oh yeah you're so smart Zemuppet every zoo deck plays battlefield forge, karplusan forest and brushland, that's the only way for a 3 color deck to work in extended.
