This is the new version of TEPS

4x rite of flame
4x seething song
4x pentad prism
4x desperate ritual
4x peer through depth
4x mind's desire
4x ad nauseum
4x manamorphose
3x angel's grace
1x tendrils of agony
1x grapeshot
1x INSTANT WIN CONDITION

4x chrome mox
4x gemstone mine
4x city of brass
4x polluted delta
1x steam vents
1x watery grave
1x hallowed fountain
1x blood crypt
1x dreadship reef
1x island

A couple of notable choices:
NO lotus bloom... drawing a bloom almost forces you to go off turn 4, with desperate ritual, the deck becomes a little faster.
an INSTANT WIN CONDITION... with an instant win condition, Ad Nauseum + Angel's grave can win EOT instead of waiting until the pilot's main phase. In addition, it allows a win in response to a spell, which may be relevant in the format.

What do people think? And more importantly, any suggestions for good instant speed win conditions that work after you've drawn the deck?

the deck goes off consistently turn 3-4.

who plays cancel MD in extended?
The deck is very resiliant against stuff like stifle because you draw your entire deck, they can't stop the 2 or 3 storm spells you have.
Also, against control, the plan becomes much more about Mind's Desire if the game goes a little longer (ie. turn 5-6).
The quicker way to win is Ad Nauseum + Angel's Grace (which is uncounterable) vs. aggro.

um, lotus bloom is amazing. there's no way in hell you cut lotus bloom for anything. ever...WTF

stifle is actually pretty damn good against TEPS.

...i'm not sold on the whole angel's grace + ad nauseum thing either

EDIT: how does angel's grace let you win eot?

main deck 4 pact of negation. so when you go off, you don't have to worry about one lonely countering killing everything

Pyromatics for the win

Are you serious? Have you ever played TEPS? Imo Brain Freeze looks quite solid.

Ok, so the win conditions in the deck are...
1x grapeshot
1x tendrils of agony
1x lightning storm.

Lightning storm is the instant win condition because after you draw your deck, you can just discard all the rest of the lands...
Brain Freeze doesn't work because your opponent has to actually not be able to draw any cards to lose, in order for that to happen, you have to pass the turn and with angel's Grace+Ad Nauseum, you're unable to do that.
Quicken seems like it could work, though I'd rather have 3 win conditions instead of 2.
If you go off with Desire, obviously stifle can stop you, but if you go off angel's Grace + Ad Nauseum, what is your opponent gonna do? He has to have 2 stifle AND a counterspell AND all the mana to cast it on turn 3 or 4. That's not possible.
when you play this deck, you DO NOT FEAR COUNTERSPELLS, its stuff like maindeck Teeg and Ethersworn canonist that is trouble.
Because of what I said above, MD pact is awful, it doesn't do anything for your combo, so in essence, it just dilutes the deck. SB is another story as I agree that there should be 4 in the board.
Imagine you draw 2 lotus bloom in your opening grip and you're opponent is playing something really fast also... uh-oh, looks like you HAVE TO wait till turn 4 to go off. Whereas if you have 2 desperate ritual, then its entirely possible to go off turn 3. Also, if you Ad Nauseum and draw your deck, lotus bloom is useless, desperate ritual still adds mana.
Finally, pyromatics might also work, its harder to counter also. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try it out.

I've been testing a similar list, based more off of the list here : http://www.deckcheck.net/deck.php?id=20466

Qty Name
// Lands
3 Polluted Delta
4 Gemstone Mine
4 City of Brass
2 Steam Vents
2 Watery Grave
2 Dreadship Reef
//\\
// Creatures
4 Simian Spirit Guide
//\\
// Spells
4 Seething Song
4 Manamorphose
1 Tendrils of Agony
4 Ad Nauseam
4 Lotus Bloom
4 Angel's Grace
4 Chromatic Star
4 Rite of Flame
4 Peer Through Depths
4 Ponder
1 Grapeshot
1 Lightning Storm
//\\
// Sideboard
4 Echoing Truth
3 Demigod of Revenge
3 Slaughter Pact
4 Pact of Negation
1 Chrome Mox

The big difference with this list is 0 Mind's Desire. Honestly I'm not sure whether that's the way to go or not, but the deck has been testing quite well so far.

Also, I'm running Simian Spirit Guide over Chrome Mox. This facilitates the instant speed win of the deck, but isn't so great for the traditional storm plan. With Spirit Guide, 6 mana + Ad Nauseum + Grace = win at instant speed. Draw the deck, Guide into Lightning Storm.

Cutting Lotus Bloom for Desperate Ritual is definately something I have to try, oftentimes Bloom is one of the weaker cards in the deck.

lightning storm can't kill opp most time cause you lose lots of lands to mind desire you need 9 land to kill and one land for each land in opp's hand
second variant will loose to any counterspell just counter ad nauseum
