| It's not an ability you use, it is simply a static effect that applies to the game. If damage would be dealt to an attacking creature you control, instead, that damage is prevented. |

| The ability applies as long as the artifact is in play. Why it's good or not good isn't really a rules question, you should ask that in the strategy forum. |
