now on to my rant...

So I used to do another type of forum article that was arguably even more popular then the Asylum Rant. I called this the Random Report. The first one of these bad boys interviewed the famous Lordhawk and proceeded to start a war with him and the entire channel of #stfu. Ah good times...
So around Monday I thought this would be a perfect idea for a new rant, well irl has a way of getting in your way cause I had drill till Thursday and then my niece who is about 2 weeks old wound up in the hospital for breathing problems. But fear not, for I am Craze and managed to finish my interview.

But Craze, does this mean you'll be doing more interviews??

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on time obviously.

i've been here since the beginning of 2001. back in the days where the channel had a dozen or so people on it and koen was here every day.

lol i tend to get along with everyone, even gfo. Although i don't approve of some of the things he does like not doing activity checks. Yes, the judges ARE doing this for free but if you're doing activity checks, keep doing them. Don't fucking stop them just because you don't want to see Clariax dejudged.

Everyone DOES want to see him dejudged. honestly, if he's not going to run the 4 minis per month everyone else is expected to hold to, dejudge him. And to paraphrase somebody who i can't remember offhand, "He's never around when you need him, and he's always around when you don't need him"

ShadowS and Avatar_of_Kokusho both got dejudged last year for not running the required 4 minis even though they made A LOT of rulings and Clariax is STILL a judge even though he hasn't run a single mini to date!

The staff of ML really has never been all that great, We've had judges like pG and RThomas who abuse their power over and over, and then Lordhawk certainly caused problems.

Yeah, ShadowS was dejudged around the same time AoK was, it was part of the reason he left M-L. ShadowS used to be the only judge running Other minis and when he was dejudged, there weren't any more other minis. So he eventually left.
LordHawk i have never had a problem with. But pG and RThomas were both douchebags. As was GRAH, to this day, i still have no fucking idea whatsoever as to how GRAH managed to reach j2.

They reward idiocy, didn't you know? pG banned me for 2 weeks straight for things I said outside the league, and what did anyone do? they promoted from halfops to ops.

I currently teach grade six kids at a catholic school. I finish up friday though, not that much difference between being in a classroom full of kids and being in #magic-league though.

omg and take no offense to this, but they let a homsexual man teach at a catholic school!? I didn't think religious institutions had evolved that much. Christians are generally awful on being even remotely openminded.

well, they don't know i'm gay. But yes, in general catholics are rather good at discriminating. Take world youth day earlier in the year, cardinal george pell invited homosexual youth along to world youth day to see what the catholic church offered. All i saw the catholic church offering was discrimination and a promise that all gays would burn in hell -_-

yeah I was watching the big debate between McCain and Obama, I got to say my overall confidence in my country tends to go down every 4 years.

People aren't confident in obama having enough experience. Although apparently McCain being a POW accounts for something. Maybe if McCain becomes president and WW3 starts McCain will get kidnapped!

i wouldn't say covered, but there's usually half a dozen pages in the paper or so and then there's a few things on it every week on the news. China's more bloody relevant to australia than the US is, yet we don't hear jack shit about china. Unless it's the bloody olympics...

It is. If america's so desperate to get coverage globally, maybe texas should try striving for independence and the rest of america oppress THEM. But yeah, china don't like other people in china's business. Cue all the crap about freeing tibet. China's like a morbidly obese fourteen year old kid who thinks freeing tibet would be a moment of weakness and everyone will start thinking china's weak and invade.

Depends where russia sits on the situation. From memory russia has more nuclear weapons stockpiled than any other country in the world. So if china attacked and russia supported them, we're all basically fucked.Though we can't do anything about it, so why worry?

Can't really say i'm active. But yes, i do keep up to date with the tournament scene and the like. Just don't do much playing anymore.

But I'd like to comment on the "How to Start"-section which is actually not good at all. I read it and still had to ask around in the chat room regarding how m-l works.

Though a bunch of homophobic kids are probably going to swarm on me for saying this: It's always good to see a gay dude that doesn't have the stereotypical gay persona that seems to transcend cultures...you know...the stupid lisp and little kerchief around his neck etc etc. Then again, Australia is pretty fucking manly, so maybe seeming "normal" is over the top feminine there. Whatever.

Wtf is up with that lisp anyway? No matter what country or race some gays guys are from, they'll have that stupid fucking lisp.
