If I have a Bosk Banneret (or any Banneret, for that matter) in play, how much does it cost me to play a Crib Swap?

The cost reducing ability of the Bannerets is one ability. They ask 'do you have creature type X or Y'? Yes? Then you pay one less. No? Nevermind. They can never do more.

Actually they ask "do you have subtype X or Y". The type of spell (instant, sorcery, creature, etc) is irrelevant as long as it has the appropriate subtype.

on the note of bannerets, do they affect prowl costs or no?
and if they don't would prowl then be considered as an ability and such be pithing needle-able?

Prowl is an alernate way of playing a card. Since you're still playing a spell the Bannerets will reduce the cost. As long as you are playing the spell (no matter how or where from) the Bannerets will reduce the cost to do so. They work on Flashback, Prowl, Madness, etc.

This may seem kind of a silly question, but I've got a merfolk bannerets, as well as an Etherium Sculpter.

My question is, does the (1) less to play Only refer to 1 colorless as the picture represents, or just 1 mana less period.

I ask this because I had 2 Sculpters in play, and then I had an artifact in my hand that cost UB. Would I still have to pay the UB, as it was unaffected by the Sculpters, seeing as though it has no colorless in the cost?

Thanks a bunch, and sorry for the noob question.

Etherium Sculptor only reduces generic mana costs. It can not reduce coloured mana costs (it would need to be worded like Edgewalker to do that). Therefor your Thoughtcutter Agent will still cost UB.

That's what I was assuming. Thanks for the clarification Hardtrack.
