I am unable to connect to IRC because it is blocked while at college. I was told on my way out the door that there is this thing call BNC's that bounce and what not off other computers in a way to allow me to connect to IRC and chat in it and so on. I have tried to search for them but I dont know how to set them up. If anyone has any clue on how to set them up or what they are please help!!!!

Thanks,
MFD

You need to set it up on your home computer anyway.
That pc acts as a host.
The one thing you still need to know though, is an open port to connect to. You see, your network does not block IRC persee, because that is just a protocol over TCP/IP.
The port 6667 that IRC servers listen on is blocked however.
So... got a port?
