Hey, could i "cauldron haze" a card with evoke like mulldrifter? i don't know if it would be useful, but i'm wondering if it would be possible

Is there a reason why you might -not- be able to? o_o Ask that sort of question before asking the kind you just asked...

Yes, you can cast Cauldron Haze on an evoked Mulldrifter before it explodes.

wizards should have just printed a card with evoke and persist.

er, actually, now that i'm thinking about it, it would basically be a more complicated version of a creature with kicker, so nevermind
