I looked over the Mono White Control list from the trial today. I think that the list was very good but could use a few different cards. Some of the cards I felt the numbers of some of the cards where not correct.

//NAME: Mono White Control - nightscare
2 Mistveil Plains
22 Plains
4 Martyr of Sands
2 Divinity of Pride
3 Kitchen Finks
4 Condemn
2 Endless Horizons
3 Idyllic Tutor
4 Wrath of God
1 Rise of the Hobgoblins
4 Unmake
4 Oblivion Ring
2 Story Circle
2 Sacred Mesa
1 Temporal Isolation
SB: 1 Kitchen Finks
SB: 1 Story Circle
SB: 4 Burrenton Forge-Tender
SB: 1 Rule of Law
SB: 4 Sunlance
SB: 1 Porphyry Nodes
SB: 1 Wheel of Sun and Moon
SB: 2 Runed Halo

I was very unsure of some of the one of cards like Temporal Isolation and Rise of the Hobgoblins. I played a few games and I really felt the need for some kind of card drawing so I found the only card that worked in the deck, Illuminated Folio. Illuminated Folio may seem very weak and it can be very weak vs discard effects like Stupor. Given that Illuminated Folio is better then the only other option Jayemdae Tome. Some cuts and adds later this is the list that I came up with. It's still raw. So here is the list that I am playing now. I hope that I did not make a good deck bad...

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
22 [CS] Snow-Covered Plains
2 [SHM] Mistveil Plains

// Creatures
4 [CS] Martyr of Sands
3 [SHM] Kitchen Finks
3 [EVE] Divinity of Pride

// Spells
4 [10E] Condemn
4 [MOR] Idyllic Tutor
4 [LRW] Oblivion Ring
4 [EVE] Unmake
4 [10E] Wrath of God
2 [SHM] Illuminated Folio
1 [TSB] Sacred Mesa
1 [10E] Story Circle
1 [EVE] Endless Horizons
1 [FUT] Imperial Mask

// Sideboard
SB: 4 [SHM] Runed Halo
SB: 4 [LRW] Moonglove Extract
SB: 4 [SHM] Oversoul of Dusk
SB: 1 [PLC] Porphyry Nodes
SB: 1 [SHM] Wheel of Sun and Moon
SB: 1 [EVE] Light from Within

Runed Halo is nuts vs Fae, RDW, and most aggro decks. Vs Fae you have the obvious name of Mistbind Clique. Vs RDW, Demigod of Revenge and many other cards could be named. Moonglove Extract may seem very out of sorts but protection from white creatures are a nightmare for the deck. Also, Moonglove Extract forces aggro players to drop bigger threats to play around it. Oversoul of Dusk is a side in for game three in the control mirror if you think that they have sided out most of their removal spells.

For the one of cards in the side; Porphyry Nodes turns off Blitterblossom in your favor, Wheel of Sun and Moon is the graveyard hate that you can tutor for with white only in Standard so that is a compromise, Light from Within is a concession to Sulfur Elemental and red based removal.

I've played with Illumated Folio before. It's better than most people think it is. 5 mana is not a big investment in the context of a control deck and it fits with Mono white control very well. The 1 mana to activate is not an issue...ever.

My only suggestion is to consider adding scrying sheets. Casting divinity of pride on turn 5 isn't that important imo.

The only relevant card with pro white is stillmoon cavalier and blood knight. WoG can handle them, so I really don't see the need for 4 moonglove extract.

Looks good. Covers lots of angles.

and this is why decks dont work and then you wonder "why?"
because illuminated follio is horrible. the deck dosent really need to draw much, mainly because horizions ensures you draw buisness. you will commit to much to getting the foilo on the board and get your ass stomped.

even besides that, why would you bring in halo vs mono red? you bring in tender, circle, and finks. runed halo is unnessary.

imo, the deck i played at trial is still the best version i have seen, the only thing i would do is take 2 sunlance out of the board and add 2 of the white crovax.

Sulfur Elemental shuts down Sacred Mesa and Martyr of Sands, but how does Light from Within help against that? You need it in play before you play Martyr (having used two turns and 7 mana to do so) and by that time any deck using Elemental in sideboard (monored for the most part) should have won the game (turn 5).

And Light from Within doesn't pump tokens.

I'd rather just play and sac Martyr before giving away priority if I suspect the opponent packs Sulfur Elementals. They are meant to deal with Burrenton Forge-Tenders, not Martyr of Sands in a mwc deck.

This why I made the choice of sideboard. Vs RDW I side out:

-1 Sacred Mesa just too slow
-1 Folio too slow as well
-4 O-Ring

+1 Light from Within
+1 Story Circle
+4 Oversoul Of Dusk

Game two went something like this and I understand that this will not happen every match.

1 Plains
2 Plains Martyr Sac +12
3 Plains Tutor for Light
4 Plains Endless Horizions
5 Oversoul
6 Light from Within -10
7 -10 GG

While I was very lucky with opening hand of Tutor, Martyr, Oversoul, and Horizions. I still feel like you win on turn 8 vs RDW with Light from Within. It's very powerful card that is overlooked.

Had I played the Tenders in the side I do not feel like I would have won that match at all. I do the the point of cutting one Moonglove Extract for one Crovax though. I will update my list with that change. Thank you for your comments everyone.

I really do not think the deck needs anymore card advantage than endless horizions, adding a blue splash and oonas grace would be better than folio but its not needed, though i do not see why it does not play the 4th tutor it wants horizions turn 4 in pretty much all situation.

In my testing Scrying Sheets and Endless Horizion don't play well together. Urza's Factory on the other hand would be very good. Also you have a good toolbox but then only play two tutors. How has that played out in your testing?

I test the Deck. I play it at a Nats. I top 8 with it. It is a great option to play right know: here my list

4 Aven Riftwatcher
3 Kitchen Finks
4 Knight of Meadowgrain
4 Martyr of Sands
4 Reveillark
2 Twilight Shepherd
1 Divnity of Pride
4 Wrath of God
4 Oblivion Ring
3 Unmake
1 Story Circle
2 Sacred Mesa

4 Desert
2 Rustic Clachan
18 Plains

Sideboard:
2 Crovax, Ascendant Hero
2 Stonecloaker
2 Wheel of Sun and Moon
3 Disenchant
3 Sunlance
3 Porphyry Nodes

Good matchups
Mono red - its a bye

elfs - easy, the only problematic card is thoughtseize, but they need to draw all 4 to do something. Side in Sunlance, Nodes and stonecloaker (removal worst enemy) in!!!

Any aggro deck!!! Any deck with red!!!

Bad matchups:
Fearies - side in: 3 Disenchant, 3 Sunlance, 3 Porphyry Nodes, 2 Crovax, Ascendant Hero

Revelark - side in: 2 Stonecloaker, 2 Wheel of Sun and Moon

Quick n Toast (horible): side in stonecloaker to be more agro and try to win fast!!!

about any lands adition:
matavault - not good, very white mana hungry

Urza's Factory - its posible to add 1, but again, very white mana hungry

About main deck card aditions:

Endless Horizion - its posible to find a place for this card, seems good.

Runed Halo - its agood card, but seems like over kill.

Idyllic Tutor - Horible card!
