|
|
| I added Alara to my sets, I have the Magic game pack installed, I used a text spoiler to install the Alara set. But when I try to build a deck including cards from Alara, MWS refuses to acknowledge my deck and when I try to connect, it asks me to load a deck. What can I do? Thanks in advance. |

| Try to reinstall Mws on your pc with a different directory, then just open the slightly masterbase on it. It worked fine for me... |

| You have to extract the files to your mws folder. That's very important, otherwise, mws doesn't recognize any sets. Had the same problem 2. |

When you extract the masterbase from slightlymagic.net to your MWS folder, dont forget to extract the data folder with the DAT file "Sets" in it too. Before i did that MWS didnt recognize alara cards, after it did. |

| If you are running vista you might have a problem with folder permissions. Try extracting the Master.mwBase file to your documents folder, then in MWS File?Open Libraries navigate to where you extracted that file, and select it. |

| I added the masterbase and put it in the data file along with the sets file from the masterbase. It tells me i need to decompile the set first. How can i do that? |

thanks Jlobes. that worked for me. don't know why copying over the old one didn't work, but this is a fine work around.
okay, not really. lets me see the cards, but i cant' actually play a game with a deck containing them. |
