Eldariel on 2008-08-16 19:52 MST This goes to prove beyond all doubt that it is indeed possible to lose to RDW with Kithkin. Also, Spirit Procession - what the heck happened to that name? by MistyFatDog on 2008-08-16 20:36 MST .............................. HUSAPI SHOULD BE BANNED by cmc on 2008-08-16 21:23 MST Husapi > sulfur elemental > block kithkins > t2 trial > magic-league by MistyFatDog on 2008-08-16 21:27 MST cmc should be banned too, unless Husapi is cmc in desguise ... by thedarkness on 2008-08-16 22:10 MST Why? by ChiDoRiE on 2008-08-16 22:50 MST lol @ block deck raping by wyvernmonarc on 2008-08-16 23:12 MST was the finals actually played out.... kithkin lost to mono red with 4 maindeck forgetenders.. by gypsy on 2008-08-16 23:39 MST forge tender doesnt do much vs sulfur elemental by Shagrath on 2008-08-17 03:14 MST Magic world is in terrible shape when a red deck dominates by LordLink on 2008-08-17 05:43 MST Good to know it was the overall winner I lost to round 1. So much RDW-hate maindeck and still got steamrolled by Husapi.
by Art on 2008-08-17 06:11 MST husapi aaa by mephidroFR on 2008-08-17 06:15 MST I took this WW deck because I hadn't any T2 deck when I saw the trial forming.
by RaiSalcedo on 2008-08-17 06:57 MST just by looking at the decklists, it's no wonder why RDW wins... it has those power cards...just for 1 card... by ZW on 2008-08-17 08:04 MST Why didn't mephidro play mutavault? lol by nightscare on 2008-08-17 08:30 MST MOar spirit prosession! by Orlandu on 2008-08-17 08:38 MST Er because mutavault is far from an autoinclude in Kithkin? You've got 8 guys that cost WW, Spectral Procession that costs WWW, Unmake that costs WWW, mirrowweave that's 2WW, not to mention windbrisk heights.. it's a gamble to run the mutavaults for sure. by ZW on 2008-08-17 08:58 MST Yea def orlandu which is why almost every kithkin deck in block, which plays all these cards, plays atleast 2 mutavault, usually more. U - fail. by gypsy on 2008-08-17 09:39 MST zw i love how you always trash talk everyone yet never top 4 anything by ZW on 2008-08-17 10:42 MST I have played in 12 trials, 3 of which are legacy. I got 3rd in one of the legacy ones, and in the others failed second round due to being a sup-par eternal player. I have not played a trial for about 4 weeks, besides the one about a week ago where I dropped after round one. Also, my first 5 standard trials where right after I got back into the game, and did poorly at them. Also, I have top4d real life things, I don't often play on magic-league. Additonally, I've been banned from the channel for a few weeks and have been unable to talk in there so whenever I go on m-l, I talk about the decks. Lastly, my rating here is higher than yours. by Ashmatan on 2008-08-17 10:57 MST ZW is 14 years old by trueeevil on 2008-08-17 11:05 MST GO HUSAPI. by ZW on 2008-08-17 11:12 MST Also gypsy, I just looked, your best finish was a top8 at a master, where you went 3-2-1, only top 8ing because you won a vintage trial. Your other tournies have not been good. So please think before you try and insult me, or atleast do some research. by curly on 2008-08-17 11:35 MST now ZW and gypsy calm down, i mean lets looka t the real problem husapi wona freaking trial!
by ZW on 2008-08-17 11:41 MST I know, but he was also attacking my m-l results. by Husapi on 2008-08-17 12:06 MST one more than you at least
by cmc on 2008-08-17 12:47 MST Husapi also won a sealed trial not long ago :D by center on 2008-08-17 13:42 MST Yeah its not like a kithkin deck 6-1 a standard portion at US nats or anything by ZW on 2008-08-17 14:44 MST ...and those kithkin decks did have mutavaults. by DrHealex on 2008-08-17 15:22 MST Mutavaults are good in kithkin if you are feeling lucky, you just need to hit your first 3 land drops as white sources and mutavaults become good. If you don't however....
by Orlandu on 2008-08-17 15:22 MST Kithkin decks do not USUALLY run mutavaults. Are there examples that do? Sure. But it's a strain on the manabase that just isn't necessary to win. Do you want me to pull examples off top 8 lists or can you do the research yourself? by Husapi on 2008-08-17 15:50 MST drhealex you rly need 26 white mana generators then? by Orlandu on 2008-08-17 16:18 MST You might not need 26 but you have 8 lands that come into play tapped, and you're going to ad another 2-4 colorless to that? No way you're consistently going to hit WW and WWW. by Orlandu on 2008-08-17 16:23 MST Not to mention the fact that you now have figure of destiny which is white mana hungry. So.. you really want to not be able to turn him into an 8/8 because you've got a land that becomes a 2/2? Nice. by Husapi on 2008-08-17 16:35 MST 8 tapped lands? you have 16 - 20 kithkins to show for clachan! and if you rly want to play spectral procession and you have windbrisk on hand you might want to drop windbrisk before by cm_ on 2008-08-17 16:41 MST Clariax is Husapi. by Husapi on 2008-08-17 16:43 MST 24 white mana generators should be enough if you want it 8/8 by ZW on 2008-08-17 18:21 MST by Orlandu on 2008-08-17 17:22 EDT
by ZW on 2008-08-17 18:22 MST Oh and doctor helix, you are also incredibly wrong. Mutavault has won me, as I said, about 50% of my games versus control. They do not hurt the deck nearly as much as they help it. With mutavault you have 24 or 22 white sources. So what you're saying is that in a 22 or 24 land deck you miss your 3rd land drop more often than not??? That's crazy to say. Lets also remove all gougers from RDW because we might not get it t3 with only 24 red sources!!! by is_adonis_cl on 2008-08-17 18:56 MST magus scroll > mogg fanatic. by is_adonis_cl on 2008-08-17 19:00 MST and will ricochet is nesesary ?
by Weedmonkey on 2008-08-17 19:00 MST The fact that so many randoms are winning trials lately makes me a sad panda :( by ZW on 2008-08-17 19:05 MST Weed!!! Return to irc perhaps? by cmc on 2008-08-17 19:17 MST Husapi is not a random D: by theMamba on 2008-08-17 19:43 MST get off his nuts cmc=/ by ZW on 2008-08-17 19:44 MST yea get on my nuts by Player_CHN on 2008-08-17 21:33 MST i am behind of you husapi by six on 2008-08-18 00:24 MST i am behind of you husapi
by OITDamion on 2008-08-18 05:01 MST i am behind of you husapi by Dracon_ian on 2008-08-18 06:01 MST It's sligh, not RDW.
by Vimes on 2008-08-18 06:59 MST Sligh also has a much lower mana curve than this red deck does. You see those 8 3 drops and 4 5 drops?
by Husapi on 2008-08-18 08:38 MST adonis
by Kenseiden on 2008-08-18 08:51 MST I have no problem seeing a 'random' guy winning.
by Lynolf on 2008-08-18 09:39 MST Is this the "Worldwide Insult Day"? How the hell did I miss it? Oh well, guess its my turn to insult someone then:
by Brodie on 2008-08-18 10:41 MST They do this every trial. If it's on m-l, every list is bad if it top3/4s.
by Circa on 2008-08-18 16:29 MST You're a towel... by DOminarian on 2008-08-18 23:21 MST please someone explain the moggs isntead of maguses
by login on 2008-08-27 06:56 MST totaly cool dude |
