Nice work Aari, Martyr rulez!

by six on 2008-08-09 17:03 MST

yay originality.

by warwizard87 on 2008-08-09 17:03 MST

how did that lose to red?

by Weedmonkey on 2008-08-09 17:08 MST

gatts_bra's list = terrible

Aari's list = cool, although couldn't you have t2ed with something other than martyr? :P

Kaesh's list = Average, but he's a great player to make up for it.

Token deck = meh.

by [R]Nchamay on 2008-08-09 17:52 MST

couldnt have been too terrible.

by onecleanceli on 2008-08-09 17:53 MST

yay someone was paying attention to the forums and decided to try the white deck

by Lumbalgic on 2008-08-09 18:51 MST

No ya en serio komo perdio ????

by arkadias on 2008-08-09 18:53 MST

i-am-designed-to-beat-rdw.dec

seems more of a fitting name for the 2nd place deck.

by DOminarian on 2008-08-09 18:57 MST

easy...red deck can start pretty fast...and not giving so much time to do a lot of cool tricks...besides when he taps out for WoG you hit demigod and pretty much he can pack things up

by ZW on 2008-08-09 19:50 MST

Gatts got incredibly lucky vs me games 2 and 3, game 2, he drew demigod then figure, the 2 perfect draws, and game 3, I was stuck on 4 lands with 2 demigod hand, and when I eventually played them, he topdecked flame javelin to win. Anyways, grats gatts.

by Art on 2008-08-09 20:29 MST

+10 to Aari, he choose life.deck against that BORING monored metagame, I dunno how he lost against the last one.
It seems, like ZW said, Gatts had a incredible lucky day.
BTW gg d0ché!

by Kyrios on 2008-08-09 20:52 MST

GJ GATTS
=)

by ZW on 2008-08-09 21:02 MST

.pl dominated the trial. (kaesh and ari) xoxoxo

by cymagic on 2008-08-09 21:54 MST

hi ppl, can someone explain what unwilling recruit is meant for, and when it should be sideboarded in? i understand that red used to side threaten, just that recruits is better in MONOred. against what matchup do i side in my recruit, and what to board out? many thanks

by Aari on 2008-08-09 23:34 MST

One comment...
I didnt lost to gatts_bra, but just fell asleep - it was about 4AM for me after whole day of work so i couldn't manage it:D

I'm preety sure that RDW would be quite easy matchup - during that trial i went 8-1 with all the RDW, Rg and Rb - those got smashed

ty

by ZW on 2008-08-09 23:50 MST

that was 2 comments u liar! anyway, <3 .pl

by ZW on 2008-08-09 23:50 MST

omg double post....

by kreff on 2008-08-10 05:57 MST

3 demigod!!! gatts_bra needs to death XDDD

by DarkGoblin on 2008-08-10 06:13 MST

How life deck goes vs fae matchup??

by Acid_Christ on 2008-08-10 11:02 MST

I think the Martyr deck looks pretty crappy.
Good for a RDW meta, but other than that, the lifegain and poor win conditions seem a little under par.

by Atub on 2008-08-10 11:57 MST

I can't figure out why Torrent of Souls and Gargadon have to be mutually exclusive in RB Tokens...

by BloodyAngel on 2008-08-10 12:54 MST

omg worst RDW list i ever seen...

by arkadias on 2008-08-10 02:53 CET

i-am-designed-to-beat-rdw.dec

seems more of a fitting name for the 2nd place deck.

---

More like i-am-designed-to-lose-to-faeries-and-reveillark.dec

by Aari on 2008-08-11 11:16 MST

Lunarvoltage - despite that both etiquettes match that deck it was a GREAT metagame choice... heh...

by Kenseiden on 2008-08-11 13:09 MST

stopped reading when I saw 3 Demigods.

by xiko on 2008-08-11 21:57 MST

use runed halo on martyr and gg to demigod?

by RaiSalcedo on 2008-08-12 07:58 MST

aari, y dont u add ajani and runed halo to the life deck? and splash some green or blue to ur deck?

by xiko on 2008-08-12 12:02 MST

and cut some cards for bitterblossom and counters and have a good deck?
